this little guy was such a sweet way to come back to work after a very hard couple of weeks.
newborn sessions are always such a joy for me. and this baby was easily the smiliest little one i’ve ever had the pleasure to photograph. that did my heart a world of good.
thanks so much to his mom and dad, and their awesome friend Jill for letting me love him for a little while.
I hope everyone had a great holiday season. It was definitely a busy one. Lots of beautiful sessions. Too bad I’m a really terrible blogger and you won’t see many of them. But, take my word for it: AWESOME.
But I just have to share this session because I think I have a new favorite family portrait ever.

Why do I love this sooo much?? You might guess that it’s the sweet way that they’re all looking at the adorable little guy. Or maybe the funny expression on the brother peeking over mom’s shoulder. ’Cause I do love those things. But NOPE. Nope. It’s the SMILEY FACE sticker. Love it. So real. It just makes me want to smile too. :)
And a few more from this awesome family. This next one is way too noisy - light was gone by then - but how can you not just adore that obvious love between these brothers. Awesome. I keep saying that. Oh well, I’ll say it again. Awesome. Yep. Awesome.

I bet you guys thought I was gone forever, huh? Nah. No such luck. I’m just really a terrible, terrible blogger.
But I’m in therapy for it now. And I think we’re making some progress. :)
Actually I do have quite a few posts coming up - I promise. More babies, a couple gorgeous families and a high school senior, or maybe two. Who knows? You’ll just have to keep reading . . . ooooh. Don’t you just love a good cliff hanger? What in the world will she blog next? You just never know.
Anyway, to get to the point of this post (really. there is one.) not too long ago, I got to meet this sweet little guy. Can you believe how beautiful he is? And that hair? He was born with a hair style. It’s just perfect.
So in love with him. Squishy squishy baby goodness.
