i love . . . .

so so many things.  Truly, I suffer from a great addiction to “stuff” of all sorts of stuffness.

Aside from my family and photography, my greatest loves are fashion and shopping!  So . .  I thought it would be fun to share some of my recent favorite finds with you all.

1.   La La Love You  -  Super super cute poster with awesome lyrics from everybody’s favorite indie band, The Pixies.  Love them or hate them - and really, how could you hate a band called “the pixies” -  this will look so awesome on your wall.

2.  These Amazing Ralph Lauren Cargo pants  -  So amazing that I can’t even find them listed for sale anywhere I’ve looked - not sure that I could afford them if I did.   But, really, can we all just agree that these pants are awesome!?   I think we can.  Dear Lord, please send the pants.  I truly, deeply need them.  Amen.

3.  This Hibiscus Tote    So cute.  I saw this on The Big Mama blog and I have to agree with her that there is no cuter handbag for spring.  But you better hurry if you want one - they’re already on back order!  Cute sells, people, cute sells!

4.  Anthropologie Tuxedo Bedding  makes me want to hang out under the covers all day.  Soooo yummy.

5. Maybelline XXL Extensions Mascara  It’s hardly an exxageration (see what I did there? :)) to say that I’ve been on the lookout for a good mascara my entire life.   Okay, okay, maybe it’s a bit of an exageration.  But, I’ve tried Chanel, Lancome, Clinique, Cover Girl, Maybelline - literally, all of them.  And, well, they’re not enough.   You see, I suffer from the crisis that is thin, undergrown short lashes.   Though I usually try to keep it quiet for obvious reasons, when I discovered Maybelline XXL Extensions Mascara,  celestial choirs sang out.  Really.

It’s a two-step system (and I love a good two-step).  First, you apply an extension agent on your lashes.  Once it’s dry, mascara is applied.   And your lashes will reach lengths and heights never known by lashes before.   It’s enough to bring a tear to my eye.  But I won’t let it, of course, because  I’m not wearing the waterproof formula.

Happy Shopping!

When we last left our fearless photographer (that’s me, in case you’re having trouble following along) she was in the middle of a late night caffiene-induced-insomnia-fueled blogging frenzy. Which, apparently, since I’m back again, has carried over into today. And this, my friends, makes two days in a row for me to blog. And that’s, like, a record. Really.

So, anyway, on with the show . . . I’ve already shared these on Facebook. But if you’re not a fan of my page on facebook (which you totally should be, because I’m awesome) then they’ll be new to you. And I know that you, my faithful reader (hi grandma) will be thrilled to see them.

Okay, moving forward . . . Isn’t he awesome? With the world’s coolest jacket. Yeah, I know.

A few weeks ago, I had the awesome opportunity to travel up to the Dallas area with my good friend, Donna from Donna Quarles Studio & Gallery.   We met up with a group of incredible friends and photographers for some girl time and lots of goofing off  serious photography-related discussion and activity.

We spent an awesome afternoon in Deep Ellum with six beautiful girls on a rockin photo shoot.  I had such a great time.   Thanks to Jamie Woodward and all the sweet girls and fabulous women who were there.  It was an amazing weekend.
