When we last left our fearless photographer (that’s me, in case you’re having trouble following along) she was in the middle of a late night caffiene-induced-insomnia-fueled blogging frenzy. Which, apparently, since I’m back again, has carried over into today. And this, my friends, makes two days in a row for me to blog. And that’s, like, a record. Really.

So, anyway, on with the show . . . I’ve already shared these on Facebook. But if you’re not a fan of my page on facebook (which you totally should be, because I’m awesome) then they’ll be new to you. And I know that you, my faithful reader (hi grandma) will be thrilled to see them.

Okay, moving forward . . . Isn’t he awesome? With the world’s coolest jacket. Yeah, I know.

Another casualty of the busy Holiday season?   My own Christmas cards!   That’s right.  I never even managed to get them designed.  But, I did get a chance to take the kids out one afternoon and grab these shots.  I might be a little bit biased, but I think these are some incredibly adorable kids!

So, anyway, if you’re on my Christmas card list and you didn’t get a card, which you didn’t, because I didn’t send any, then please consider this your belated virtual greeting.   Yep.  That’s how I roll.

Merry Christmas.  :)

{Episode One - How To Break a Mommy’s Heart}

Take one small precious baby boy, like this one, with his oh-my-gosh-it’s-so-cute-I-can-barely-stand-it chili-bowl haircut.

Oh, how I loved that hair-cut.  I really, really did.

And replace him with THIS:

This dude with the movie-star tan and the way-too-cool-for-school big kid hair style.

 Please.  Make it stop.

{a new year. a clean slate. a fresh start.}

A new beginning.   A blank page.  And all those other cliches.   But, still, doesn’t it feel good!!?!?

I hope you all had a magical Christmas filled with lots of love and laughter and a great start to the new year.

I enjoyed it all, but am so ready to get back into my usual routine.    Welcome 2009!

And, because a blog post is just no good without a few images - here are a few of my own from this year’s Christmas card:
